Information we collect

When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, whether you agreed to receive text messages, and details about the role or search you're inquiring about. If you submit the form as a candidate, we also collect your work history and any other information you choose to include, such as a LinkedIn URL or location preference.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate fit for open or future roles, and run the searches you've engaged us for. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with third parties except as needed to run a search you've asked us to run, such as sharing a candidate's information with a client considering that candidate, with the candidate's knowledge.

Background checks

For some placements, we may run a background check as part of the search process. Any background check is conducted in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including written disclosure and your signed consent before any check is ordered.

Data retention and security

We retain candidate and client information for as long as it's useful to an active or future search, and we take reasonable steps, including access controls and encrypted backups, to protect it. Information submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

Your rights over your information

You can ask us to do any of the following with the personal information we hold about you, at no cost and without being treated differently for asking:

• Access it. We'll tell you what we have on file and where it came from.
• Correct it. If something is wrong or out of date, we'll fix it.
• Delete it. We'll remove you from our records, except where we're required to keep something to meet a legal obligation.
• Stop using it. We'll take you out of consideration for current and future searches and stop contacting you.

Email [email protected] with the request and we'll confirm once it's done. We may need to verify your identity first, so that someone else can't request your information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Text messages and mobile information

If you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted by text, we use it to run an SMS messaging program covering the practical parts of a search: confirming and rescheduling interviews and calls, sending status updates, and following up on conversations. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

We do not share or sell mobile opt-in data or phone numbers to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This applies regardless of any other sharing described elsewhere in this policy. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only to message you directly, and are disclosed only to the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf and only for that purpose, or where we are legally required to disclose them.

Message frequency varies, depending on the stage of the search you are involved in. Message and data rates may apply under your own carrier plan. You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get help by replying HELP or emailing [email protected]. Full program terms are in our Terms of Service.

Cookies and analytics

The analytics cookies described here are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner on your first visit. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded and sets no cookies. A browser Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a decline. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. When accepted, this site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and general location and device information. Google Analytics sets cookies to collect this in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you personally, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.

You can opt out at any time by adjusting your browser's cookie settings, using your browser's Do Not Track or global privacy control setting, or installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Data collected this way is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

The contact form also loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission is coming from a person rather than an automated script. It's strictly necessary for the form to work and is not used for tracking or advertising.
